Prof. Dr. Kamil Gülpınar was born in Antakya in 1974. He completed his primary education at İskenderun Namık Kemal Primary School, and his secondary and high school education at İskenderun İstiklal Makzume Anatolian High School. In 1992, he was admitted to Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, and in 2005, he completed his specialization training in General Surgery at the same university's Faculty of Medicine.
Between 2005 and 2006, he worked as a specialist physician at Ankara Güven Private Hospital. From 2006 to 2023, he served as a faculty member at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine. In 2012, he was an observer at the Endocrine Surgery Department of the Endocrinology and Metabolism Institute within the Cleveland Clinic International Observership Program.
He has numerous scientific publications in domestic and international journals. He is married and has one child. His areas of expertise include... gastric sleeve surgery, gastric bypass, gastric balloon, endoscopic intragastric balloon and mide bandı ameliyatı yer almaktadır.
